Exceptional in every way. We loved the beautifully restored 19th century farmhouse, the unobstructed views across the Channel, the thoughtful amenities, the total peace and quiet, and simply everything about this property. Simon was an attentive and generous host and the house was spotless. We hope to return.

Spent a relaxing week at Flowerpot cottage. Beautiful and peaceful location which was precisely what we were looking for. They have done a lovely, tasteful and thoughtful job of renovating the original 1880 cottage that looks like it should be in a story book from the outside but has every creature comfort you might need on the inside. The addition of the sauna and outside bath capturing the view provided an activity and soothed the muscles at either end of days spent exploring the peninsula and surrounds. The kitchen was well appointed which was appreciated given the limited alternative local options - pick up some gourmet delights during the day and cook up a storm over a bottle of Tassie Pinot each night! Mewstone winery within walking distance if you are running short! Our only regret during our stay was sleeping through what appears to have been an amazing Aurora Australis on our final night - hitting the sauna during that would have been unforgettable!

We had a beautiful stay at the Flowerpot Cottage. The house has incredible views, is well equipped and provides everything needed to unwind with family and friends. We especially loved the sauna and deck. Communication was excellent. Thank you for having us, Simon.

What a beautiful place to escape the world. Peaceful surroundings full of wildlife. The house is fully equipped with everything you need, very comfortable. Wonderful location for a group of people to gather. Flowerpot Cottage is picturesque and with fabulous Mewstone Vineyard walkable from the house and Peppermint Bay Restaurant 10mins by car, it is hard not to indulge in local produce. We would love to come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Flowerpot Cottage over Christmas. It's the most beautiful, serene location with a stunning outlook. Watching the water and tall grass move in the wind through the kitchen window while sitting in the sun didn't get old! Simon was always friendly and responsive to our needs. We loved the house and decor! Will definitely be back!

Goodness, where to start! incredibly beautiful setting. So peaceful. Simon has done an amazing restoration on this beautiful old home. We were a group of 4 couples, very old friends. Plenty of space to spread out, no shortage of thoughtful little spaces to just read and enjoy the views. Comfy beds, lots of new, modern appliances, a wonderful BBQ and even a well tuned piano which our resident must enjoyed ... as we did! Couldn't recommend more highly if you're a group of friends. Only disappointment was that there was virtually nowhere to go out for an evening meal ... well, nowhere that would accommodate 8 at short notice. Thank goodness for great shopping in Cygnet and our beautiful amenities at home 🏡

Flowerpot Cottage was an absolutely delightful and luxurious experience. We stayed for one week and had an incredible time. The place is so tasteful, high quality and it is clear that a lot of thought has been put into guests' experience - it had everything. We explored the local area - including beaches and nearby Peppermint Bay hotel but were equally happy relaxing around the house with the stunning views and extreme comfort. Simon was an incredible host - responsive, friendly, helpful. This is a really special place and we hope to be back.

Our group of 8 including 3 children thoroughly enjoyed our stay over new year. The house is absolutely immaculate and the owners have done a great job of restoring a charming cottage into a destination holiday house. The location is very peaceful with plenty of nocturnal wildlife! The layout of the house allowed the children to enjoy their time away from the adults. They especially loved the piano. We had lovely weather so played games outside on the beautifully manicured lawns. The house is very well equipped. The owners clearly have good taste. I especially loved the Marimekko. We made good use of the infra-red sauna with a view and the outdoor bath. So unique. Also a short walk up the road is Mewstone wines which is unmissable for a tasting. We would love to return.

Beautiful location and awesome historic house with fantastic amenities! Resting in the bath looking out over the D'Entrecasteau channel is not to be missed!

This is a gorgeous property in a stunning location. It has a large, well-equipped kitchen, spacious dining and entertaining areas, and lots of space for lounging outside. The hosts are gracious and friendly. And there's a winery right next door. Highly recommended.
